styling for apparel photography

Photography in Studio of Models | Apparel and Models | Our Studio Productions

Our Studio Productions Photography photographs apparel, with and without models. Generally, when working with models the shoot needs to be well-planned to establish a good workflow. All the people involved are strategic for timing and selection of the pieces they are wearing. The professionals on set from the account executive, makeup artist, clothing stylist, and the photographer, are a team that needs to work smoothly together.

The photography pace is usually quick with models with a deadline of their booked studio time, and the client may have many pieces to have the models wear. Keep in mind to allow hair & makeup to be routinely applied, and of course, breaks. Our Studio Production’s location has many eateries within a short drive or walking distance to supply food.

“If the photographer is interested in the people in front of his lens, and if he is compassionate, it’s already a lot. The instrument is not the camera but the photographer.”
