Professional Photography for Best Online Selling Results

Lighting for a white rug may appear to be simple, but it is far from it. We need to see the texture, depth and quality, and light to room to bring this ‘Lifestyle’ image to life. Too much light, you lose the depth and texture, too little and it will turn grey. A fine balance is needed.

In our photography studio in Scotch Plains, New Jersey we manage our space and time with scheduled upcoming bookings. Our lighting equipment is what usually takes over the space, but they are one of the best tools in our gearbox, so to speak.

Lighting is key. Our principal photographer, Diane Metz is tuned-in on the product and how best to light it.

This was shot with the latest iPhone, the 12 pro, simply for the purpose of posting on Instagram. Color and lighting are an issue.

Everyday is different, everyday is another chance to explore the art of photo lighting.

Black and white products can be a challenge to photograph, especially when the product has both shiny and matte surfaces. Lighting the product correctly will show both aspects of the product’s quality and features.

In our commercial photography studio, we have all kinds of backgrounds and lighting to achieve really beautiful results.

Every day when we open our doors to our photo studio, we smile. We love what we do for a living, and it shows in our photography. At least we think so. LOL. As business owners in our photography business for over 25 years, we give our clients commitment to every product we photograph. Some graphic services are done here in our studio. Like pure white backgrounds with or without paths, shadows for the extra realistic feel. Retouching for corporate portraits, color correction by the numbers, and other manipulations.

Pricing is as custom as our photography is. Pricing for products is started by a discussion of your project and your vision. For an e-commerce launch we have a guide line of prices we can send to you. But, since every product is different, from rugs to diamonds pricing needs to be well thought out. Pricing for advertising / commercial work has another consideration; usage. Do you need a full buy out? Do you need a usage agreement? These are just some things to consider on both ends.
